Good Hope

Some "mild weather" off the cape of Good Hope, South Africa. That's one ominous looking sky to me. Imagine if you were sailing these waters in the 1800's and didn't have all our modern weather forecasting, ocean tide and current charts, GPS positioning data, etc.. Makes what was done even that much more impressive. Can you spot the line between the Indian and Atlantic Oceans?

Cape Town Coast

The scale of this space is impressive to say the least and the only I could to try and captuer it was with a very large panorama. So I show a 27 frame HDR hand held panorama (9 tiles or slices total left to right, 3 frames (0ev,-2ev+2ev) exposure differences per tile). Essentially an attempt to capture the scope, left to right, of the scene and it's dynamic range of color and exposure difference.
